Q : DO YOU SELL ORIGINAL ART?
A : YES - if there is a specific piece you are interested in, you can contact me directly to inquire as to availability of that piece. To inquire - email: sales@wolfsongstudio.com
Another option would be to join the WOLF SONG STUDIO Mailing List - If you would like to be informed of NEW art works, events or opportunities to be the first to purchase new art for sale before the general public, please use the link above to add your name and email address to our mailing list.
I also sell original paintings through select galleries and art shows.
Q : WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT OWNING ORIGINAL ART - ISN'T A PRINT JUST AS GOOD AND ALSO CHEAPER.?
A : Financial constraint should not be an obstacle to owning art in any form, and a well produced reproduction is certainly one way to fulfill that desire, which is why I also offer my works in a print form as well, but for those who find it is within their means to purchase an original painting, there are indeed benefits that even a high-quality reproduction simply cannot convey. No matter how good the reproduction, it will never have the same visceral and visual presence as owning the original work, and in owning that work you have a direct connection to the Artist, which adds to the provenance of that piece as it passes directly from the Artist's hands to you. The more popular any reproduction based on that work, the more valuable the original becomes both intrinsically as well as monetarily, so buying an original painting is an investment that can over time also become a family heirloom and thus a part of one's own history...
Q: CAN I USE YOUR ARTWORK FOR EMAIL STATIONARY, LINKS, TUBES, TAGS OR OTHER ONLINE USAGE?
A : In 2010 I signed with My Tubed Art (MTA) and they will be handling the distribution of my digital images to signature groups - please refrain from using my images unless you've purchased a license for their legal use. I am gratified by the response of so many to my artwork, and would like to thank each and every person who has abided by the conditions set forth for the use of our images in this fashion - Thank you!
Q : DO YOU SELL PRINTS OF YOUR WORK?
A : Yes - framed prints on paper and canvas with thousands of frame and mat combinations. Currently there are 230 frames and 100 mats which can be used to create museum-quality masterpieces from any print! It is so easy! Just choose which image and size print or giclee that you want. Choose paper or canvas. Choose whether to stretch it on stretcher bars, frame it and mat it, protect it with glazing, and it will be packed and shipped to your door!
Select works are available for purchase as prints here:
Q : DO YOU DO COMMISSIONED WORK?
A : Yes - I do accept commissions, there are however certain reasonable conditions - foremost being whether or not the project falls within the scope of what I actually do; having artistic talent does not mean I am inherently capable of doing every type of subject or art form. If your request falls outside of what you see on this site as examples of the types of work I do, then I will most likely decline the commission, however as a matter of good relations I will try to help you find the Artist for the job if possible. There is also the matter of time - sometimes I simply do not have the time to fulfill a commission due to existing obligations, or cannot realistically fulfill a proposed project within a specific, limited time frame. Lastly I reserve the right to refuse all commissions should the request be unreasonable due to it's content or intended usage.right
Q : ARE YOUR PRICES NEGOTIABLE.?
A : Make me an offer - you never know... I'm also open to negotiating on the price(s) especially when multiple works are purchased, AND I like to show my appreciation by giving return Customers 20% OFF on future purchases, so there is lots of potential.
Q : WHY DO YOU SELL YOUR WORK SO CHEAP.?
A : My prices are not cheap - for me, my prices are enough - I get what I need to make a living and keep doing what I do best, and you get an original painting at a VERY good price!
(after you buy that first piece I think you will agree it is indeed a GREAT deal.)
A big price tag does not make art better - buy what you like, and if you can get what you like at a great price - so much the better! (and if it makes you feel better, you can always pay me more)
