This particular piece is entitled: "Voice of Thunder" and is one variation on a theme inspired by a Tucano Amazon Indian myth...

" The Sun created the Jaguar to be his representative on Earth. He gave him the Yellow Coat of his power and he gave him the Voice of Thunder which is the voice of God."

The model used for this work is an actual South American Jaguar named "Maya" who resides at the C.A.R.E. Foundation in Christmas, Florida. You can learn more about Maya and this foundation at the end of this presentation.
